Nov. 7 - Nealy's Baptism
We can't believe it's been a week since we were blessed with the addition of Nealy to our family and the progress she's made in her development during this short time. A week ago, she was barely able to hold up her head on her own and now she's sitting by herself and even pulling herself up to stand! Even the conversations with the other adoptive families is growing less and less about poopy diapers and more about the children's development.
Today we only had a little "pay"per work to do, completing Nealy's travel visa... And paying the last of the fees! We still have enough left to do a little shopping tomorrow. We'll be going to a store with a lot of cute silk Chinese dresses, so we may buy several for Nealy to wear as she grows older. There's also a few stores specializing in jade and pearl. John would like a nice sized jade dragon or a horse, or a smaller terra cotta warrior or two, and Jane would like some pearls. Depending on the prices and how much it will cost to ship, we may get a few things.
The most amazing thing, though, is that with all the appointment and activities scheduled for us, we haven't been late once!

We love the stroller and the effect that it has on Nealy. She fights going to sleep especially when she is over tired. So after a couple of laps of the floor in the stroller, it is lights out!

We love to play with our toys. And mostly we love to stand up and look at ourselves in the mirror. And by "we", I mean Nealy. We sometimes refer to her as "Vanity."

We ended today with a bath. Is it a suprise that we love bathtime, too?
